COVID Recovery Ward Upgrades

Barwon Health is Victoria's largest regional health care provider, which has 21 sites. With such a large area for which services are provided, we were engaged to upgrade a number of existing wings to facilitate the potential additional recovery beds required for the COVID 19 pandemic.

The Challenge

The QA Electrical Solution

QA electrical were tasked with identifying which existing services could be utilised and this enabled the following to be completed:

New AS/NZS 3003: 2018 body protect wiring and outlets to be fitted
New CAT 6A communications cabling to be installed
All new wiring to be inspected and signed off by a licensed inspector
