Flemington Turnstiles

The scope of the project was to update all the turnstiles at the Flemington Racecourse with 38 new entry and exit turnstiles. These were designed to closely resemble the ones that were previously in use, while incorporating the latest technology. In addition, the project included the installation of 19 portable freestanding units. The project scope was focused on improving the visitor experience at the Flemington Racecourse by enhancing the entry and exit process.

The Challenge

The primary objective of this project was to provide racecourse patrons with updated, efficient, and reliable turnstile access points in time for the spring carnival. The challenge and expectation was to have minimal impact on the day-to-day operations of the busy venue with no disruptions to power on the areas which were not under construction.

The QA Electrical Solution

QA Electrical executed effective planning to foresee any potential issues that may arise due to the project delivery for spring carnival, and for any day-to-day operational impact of the Flemington Racecourse.

QA Electrical implemented effective planning for communication, collaborative problem-solving, risk management, monitoring and evaluation processors prior to commencement of work. These were all key factors for this project to ensure its successful execution.
